Hi Guys, I seen the new site up so I thought i would join up. Last year I wasn't able to drive to the cookout since my car wasn't completed but I did make it there riding with a fellow conquest owner Allen, but I plan on driving up this year. Ok so onto my ride. I have a 88 Chrysler Conquest(Mitsubishi Starion) I don't really see a section for our cars yet but we are the minority here. I have been in the process of rebuilding my car over the last year. At the moment I am preparing to put in a brand new set of D2s, Poly bushings, Moog steering components and ST sway bars. A list of what I have done to the car so far New stage 2 clutch Fresh short block with hyper pistons balanced and crankshaft balancer eliminated ARP head studs jet valve elimination kit, Exhaust manifold resurfaced and stress relieved, Griffon Aluminum radiator, new front air dam new paint. A list of what I still have to do Complete rebuild of suspension and bushings Painting rims copper Hood body work then painting satin black And front air dam splitter For now I am just trying to get it back to being in prime running condition before i start really modifying it.

Welcome aboard! I have a soft spot for StarQuests. Yours looks pretty good. I will probably get one at some point. I didn't put up a StarQuest section because I'm not sure if there would be enough traffic to warrant one. You can always put any StarQuest related posts in the General section. I've owned a couple of Mitsubishi Cordias in the past. I have a little known website for them: mn3s.org/cordia/later, Curt

Hi there. Looks like a fun project. I like your fix before mod approach. Usually alieviates more fixing later, lol.

Yep, I am not a fan of bandaides, because if the tune is off or something is seriously off and you modify a car it can cause more damage in many cases and I try not to have a ticking time bomb. Plus I like to have it running pristine. I am also a member of starquestclub and i do have a build thread there I can link www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=143483

This weekend is supposed to get warm. I'm actually putting a headgasket in the durban widebody either Saturday or Sunday.
