My name is Carl. I have a 98 Eclipse GSX. I've been messing around with DSMs since 1998. I've ownened three 90 FWD s. after many years of trying to make front week drives fast I finally gave up and bought my 2G AWD auto.   I also have a 1963 mercury meteor that I have been restoring that is my slow cruiser.  |

Hi Carl,
Nice toys! Can't go wrong with black. I like the merc. I would like to get in to something old too. I grew up around street rods, hot rods, and classics. Would have never expected to get into Mitsubishis growing up, lol. What powers the merc?

The Mercury has a 260 V8 and a 2 speed automatic. It leaves a lot to be desired performance wise but actually runs and drives really good for being 50 years old. I'd like to do a 302 / AOD swap some time. Or maybe a coyote swap if I win the lottery.
